Moisture is one of the most common causes of peeling paint, staining, mould and deteriorating plaster. Treating the surface without understanding where the water comes from rarely lasts, so we start by looking at the cause.
Some damp comes from leaking pipes, roofs or poor drainage, which must be fixed before any surface treatment. Where the problem is moisture passing through the wall surface, we recommend a suitable water-resistant treatment from our range and apply it as part of plastering, screeding or a dedicated waterproofing job.
